Bio

Mark Rogers springs from the well of American west coast literary songwriters. Although generally “pop” in nature, his songs are presented with lyrical depth and melody that flourish with touches of folk-rock jangle, cosmic americana, and even latin/Bossa rhythms. His latest LP “Rhythm of the Roads” debuted at #19 on the EuroAmericana chart in November, 2021 with wonderful reviews worldwide.

“Rogers, who sounds a bit like Marshall Crenshaw and shares some of his musical sensibilities, delivers 10 self-penned numbers that range from the Latin-flavored “Waiting for Maria” and the catchy “Every Once in a While” to the contemplative “Strange Anticipation,” which seems like something Paul Simon might have written.” -- Americana Highways, October, 2021

“Rippling with luscious SoCal soft rock surfaces, enticing rhythms, and the sumptuous vocals of Mark Rogers, 'Rhythm of the Roads' is excellent.” -- Rawckus Magazine, October, 2021
